Putāruru High School was established in 1929, and grew nurtured our Rangitahi . In 2003 Putāruru High School was merged with Putāruru Intermediate to become Putāruru College.

Our school is passionate about our students and takes a holistic view of their educational journey from year 7 to 13.

We have designed a curriculum of three interconnected strands that is tailor made for the students success. 

The committed team of teachers and support staff bring a wealth of knowledge and innovation , as well as fantastic resources, we are proud to provide high quality opportunities to our Rangitahi.  With the wrap around care of school, community and whanau, students are equipped for a positive experience during their time with here at Putāruru College.
