Are you a mathematics educator who believes that every student can "get" maths when it’s taught with heart and context?

Putāruru College is a Year 7–13 rural secondary school on a mission to raise aspirations. We are looking for an innovative, relationship-focused junior math teacher to join our team. Whether you are a statistics specialist, a calculus expert, or a junior numeracy champion, we want to hear from you.  Although this job is for a junior maths teaching load, there is room for growth for the right candidate.

Requirements:

• Only applicants who have a current New Zealand Teacher Registration certificate and are a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or hold a valid work visa should apply.
• Recent New Zealand Teaching exprience preferable.
• Ability to build strong, positive relationships with ākonga and whānau.
• Please state supporting subjects (for example Physics, Statistics, Science, or Digital Tech).
