Learning for Life - Whāia te mātauranga kei tua

The College strongly encourages students to develop their leadership and mentoring skills.

There are numerous opportunities for students to be involved in and develop skills in leadership:

  • Student Leaders (and the Headgirl/Headboy)  - a team of motivated leaders in Year 13
  • Student Representative on the Board of Trustees
  • Student Council - a group of students from all year levels that provides a voice for students.

In addition to these formal roles, there are also opportunities in being a school house leader, librarian, a junior leader (year 9 and 10), sports coach, referee, reading coach, student mentor, and more.
