The other team members come from St Mary’s and one comes from Matamata.  Our team is coached by Greg Fladgate and Richie Brown and our training’s are on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at the rugby club.  

Our first game of the season was at the Putaruru Rugby Club and we versed SURF from Tokoroa. We won that game 53-12, Richard Brown and Liam Van der Heyden were the player’s of the day. In our second game we versed Matamata and we won 43-29. Tayezhian Gray and Calin Mark were the players of the day for this game. 

We learn a lot from our coaches and each week our team gets better and better. We’ve got some really hard games coming up this season and we hope we can make it into the top 4 and get through to the semi finals.
