At Putāruru College, learning is at the heart of everything we do. Our student-centred approach fosters curiosity, independence, and achievement through engaging and supportive teaching.

Junior students (Years 7–10) experience a broad, integrated curriculum, while seniors (Years 11–13) specialise in subjects that match their interests and work towards NCEA, with opportunities through Toi Ohomai and Wintec.
