At Putāruru College, our Year 7–8 students follow a well-rounded curriculum designed to build strong learning foundations. All students study the core subjects: Maths, English, and Science, and also take part in Health and Physical Education to support their overall wellbeing. In addition, they get to experience a variety of Technology subjects, such as Food Technology, Digital Technology, Woodwork, and Art, giving them a taste of different skills and interests. This broad curriculum helps students discover their strengths and prepares them for future learning pathways as they move through college.
